FAQ
How does the mist effect work?
Open the small white cap behind the guard, add a few drops of the included atomization oil and a small amount of water, then close the cap. Double tap the switch to start the glow and mist; double tap again to turn it off.
Keep the katana horizontal or blade-down while the mist runs, and use it in a well-ventilated space. Keep the oil away from children.
Does it arrive assembled?
It ships unassembled for safe delivery. Attaching the blade to the handle takes less than 2 minutes using the included guide.
Is it a real sword?
No. The blade is made of bamboo acrylic and is not sharp. GlowKatanaX is designed for cosplay, photos, videos, parties and display.
Does the blade change colors?
Yes. Every GlowKatanaX has a color-changing (RGB) LED blade, so you can switch between different glow colors.
The katana comes in 5 styles: White, Yellow & White, Black & Red, Black & Blue and Green & White. Choose yours when you add it to the cart.
How do I charge it?
It has a built-in 500 mAh rechargeable battery. Charge it with the included Type-C cable — no disposable batteries needed.
How big is it?
Full length is 100 cm with a 70 cm blade, and it weighs about 500 g, so it's easy to hold and pose with.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free. Delivery takes 5–12 business days to the United States and 8–15 business days to Canada and Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands). European prices include VAT, so there's nothing extra to pay on delivery.
